Same-Sex Marriage in Iowa is your one stop site to plan your Iowa wedding. We are based in Sioux City Iowa on the border of Nebraska and South Dakota. We will do as much of the work as you would like, including licensing and legal issues, locations for the wedding, music, catering, arranging banquet event, lodging, photographer, flowers, cake, formal wear, transportation, and arranging for an officiate. Whether you prefer a church, a natural outdoor setting, or an elegant indoor atmosphere, we will assist in planning the perfect event for you. If you are interested, please contact us.
This application lists Party A and Party B and does not require that couples list their gender. This application is the only one used now for all marriages: same-sex or different-sex. Learn more.

This site is being offered as a resource for same-sex couples living in Iowa wishing to marry and same-sex couples living elsewhere who would like to get married in Iowa. In addition, heterosexual transgenendered persons who have not yet been successful in negotiationg the long, expensive, frustrating process of having their new gender recognized legally will also be able to marry in Iowa and have that traditional heterosexual wedding they may have dreamed of. It is our hope that some of those living elsewhere might feel welcome enough to consider moving to our great state.
